 ANNOUNCEMENT

This notice is to inform readers of the forthcoming Youth Chinese Test (YCT) sponsored by the Office of Chinese Language Council International (国家汉办), People's Republic of China.  This test is being organized in the United States by the "Chinese Schools Association of the United States (CSAUS)," headquartered in Michigan.

There are three levels of competency being tested: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Students who take the test and pass will receive an official certificate from the Central Government of China that will verify their achievement.  This will be a good way for students to evaluate their level of competency compared to other students studying Chinese throughout the United States.
